Everybody knows Safety is a Big Deal!!!

RIAGC has an active Safety Committee composed of 10 industry professionals who are full time safety directors or are additionally responsible for their employer’s safety program.

Real Practitioners!

They meet monthly for shoptalk and the latest from OSHA. The Safety Committee’s OSHA 500 Instructors annually deliver the OSHA 10 Hour Training to the Construction Management students at Roger Williams University. (Link)

The RIAGC Safety Committee also administers the Construction Health and Safety Excellence (CHASE) program. RIAGC was the first AGC Chapter in New England to launch the CHASE program. (September 02) Our program is a three-way partnership between RIAGC, The Rhode Island Building Trades Council, (Link) and local OSHA (Link).

CHASE is a voluntary program for employers willing to raise their jobsite safety bar above current federal regulations.

The RIAGC Safety Committee meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month.

RI Construction Roundtable will be held on:
